Meet our BOLD coaching staff

Brenda Moser – Coach B

Brenda Moser is owner, director, and 18-1 head coach for B2. She is has been the Head Coach for women’s volleyball at Modesto Junior College since 2015. Coach B’s coaching resume covers all levels from PeeWees to college, girls and boys. She received a Masters Degree in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University, Irvine. Her beach coaching training comes from Misty May-Treanor & Hayden Jones. Coach B is an active beach player herself and ever learning student of the game!

During Coach B’s time at MJC the Pirates have had 2 State Players of the Week, 5 First team all-conference, 6 second team all-conference, 5 honorable mention all-conference players. The Pirates have made history under the leadership of Coach B with back to back playoff appearances (2021 & 22)

Coach B brings her club knowledge from directing and head coaching for Velocity Volleyball Club (2014-2020).


Kylie Kriese

Kylie is a Modesto home town native. She competed for Modesto Junior College (2021-22) and is a Gregori High School graduate.

Kylie has played beach for MJC over several summers and coaches B2 summer beach clinics.


Jaclyn Hollis – Jax

Jax is currently an assistant coach at Modesto Junior College after leading the Enochs High School Eagles Varsity program for 8 seasons. Jax has led her varsity program to three conference championships (2019, 2016, 2015) as well as having 8 players commit to play collegiate volleyball (DI – 2, DII – 2, CCCAA – 4).

Jax is USA Volleyball IMPACT certified. As an ever-learning student of the game, she has attended a coach clinic with John Dunning and a setting clinic with Debbie Green. Jax is CPR and first aid certified, as well as a mandated reporter.


Spencer Barclay

Spencer is the head coach for Enochs High School Varsity volleyball. He has been coaching Volleyball for 8 years in high school and club, indoor and beach. Spencer is a local baseball player who attended Enochs High School, then continued on to play at MJC. He made the transition to volleyball as a club Assistant Coach for 16s (5 years) and 13s (1 year). He was the JV Head Coach for 4 years and the Freshman Head Coach for 1 year.

Spencer graduated from CSU Stanislaus with a degree in Criminal Justice and is currently working on his Teaching Credential. Spencer is CPR and First Aid Certified, as well as Mandated Reporter.
